Eventually, I'll have a list of frequencies and cars that we use up here for your reference, in case you'd like to join up with us. We're pretty non-competitive (i.e. we don't run laps or anything), instead we just go to a field, get our cars running, and impress the local populace.
I know, you're disappointed. You were hoping to see more pictures and whatnot here, but they're just not ready yet. Also, I'm currently looking into what we can do for the winter months, because I'm sure that we'll hold out for as long as we can, eventually we'll have to look into alternative fun.
I've been looking into tracks which are indoors, but unfortunately, after investing tons of money in gas-powered vehicles, these can't be run indoors (or at least nobody's come up with a heated/ventilated indoor dirt track yet that I've seen). So, in order to satiate the R/C Bug, I ended up buying a nice electric truck for use on indoor tracks.
So now, every so often, I'll pop down to Brockton to use Hi-Tech Hobbies' indoor track and to check out the racers there. Last time I went to race, I wasn't very competitive (read: I got my butt kicked). So, I'd like to get some better gear, and spend a lot more time practicing. (I know, I know. There's nothing wrong with my equipment, except for the nut behind the wheel.) Hopefully, next time I go to race, I'll be in a bit better shape.
